Dear Visitors,

here you find photographs of F.I.S.A. World Rowing Masters Regatta 2013 that was held in the lake of Varese, Italy, on September 5th to 8th.
Athletes and visitors reached the lake the weekend before the races and Photo MA visited the lake, the “Canottieri Varese” and the area of the event starting from September 2nd, taking photos of life along the shore of the lake and the training of rowers and scullers.

Photo MA makes the pictures of the event available, currently training sessions from Sept 2nd to the 5th and the races held on Sept. 5th and 7th. Pictures of the remaining races will be posted soon.

Each photo is identified by a unique file name, visible at the bottom. Please note that as a general rule, photos in the slideshows are ordered according to the time when they have been taken, from morning to evening. This means that photos at the beginning of each slideshow were shot in the morning, while pictures towards the end of the slideshow were shot in the afternoon. However, we suggest to scroll the entire slideshow in case you search for a particular photograph.

Photos shot during races have been grouped per type of boat (1M……2-W……4+M…… 8W). All Masters categories for a specific type of boat in a certain date are in the same slideshow.

Also note that probably not all races and 3100+ athletes have been photographed during the event, due to this huge number of participants distributed over such a wide area. However, the visitor is invited to search for photos of his/her interest.
